Fish can be caught on a pole at the speed boat quay at Tro, but also at Tro Handelssted you can throw out the line and almost certainly catch a bite. This year comes a rowing boat rental.
A beautiful beach can be found in Trovika. It is located furthest south in the island community.
Only 100-200 meters from Haugen Camping is Troosen. It is nature's own swimming pool. There is brackish water. It is loved by older children. Here they can dive from the jetty and have a good time.
Røyfjellet is a mountain that is worth climbing. Spectacular viewpoint.
Shared WC and shower rooms for alle of the guests. There are 3 separate toilets and 3 showers divided between 2 changing rooms. 1 outdoor WC at the campsite. 1 WC has a changing table and a separate washbasin.
The 4 rooms in the holiday home share a fully equipped kitchen. There is a coffee maker, kettle, microwave and a large shared fridge.
Common living room in the basement. Here there is a comfortable corner sofa with a coffee table and a TV. The WiFi is free for guests in the Holiday House.
A super cozy barbecue area is available on the property for free use by guests. Coal and firewood must be brought by the guests themselves.
1. Røyfjellet in the very north of Røyen. It is said to be 307.7 meters high. Spectacular views are provided in all directions.
2. The "Skier of Tro" is located was the model for the pictograms during the Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer in 1994.
3. Another petroglyph field can be found in Trovika, furthest south. From the same historical era, there are Bronze Age graves in Tangen, the farthest north of the island community.
4. At southwest of Tro we find the ruins of the old Tro Handelssted, follow the road sign "Troberget".
There is rich wildlife here, many species of birds, sea eagles. Deer and elk have their moves here. Rich in in plants and herbs, among them, wild orchids.
